Abstract

**Research Statement — Trustworthy Agentic Operations.** iShareHow Agents is simultaneously a live operations system and a research instrument. We study how agentic tooling can be made *trustworthy* in real deployments: measurable against baselines, auditable in tool and decision traces, safe with respect to privacy and security, and credible to the humans who must intervene. For every iShareHow deployment we capture structured metrics in profile settings (onboarding + Connectors training) so contracts become governed research opportunities — not only testimonials — and so RAG/graph assessment can improve over time for urban communities and partner builders.

1 1. Introduction

*[To be completed]* Motivate the problem for R1 readers; state research questions; preview contributions (C1, C2, …); outline paper structure.

2 2. Related Work

*[To be completed]* Position against prior work (SSI, IoT identity, urban systems, agent ops). End with an explicit gap this paper addresses.

3 3. Background and Problem Statement

*[To be completed]* Domain context, definitions, and the concrete setting (e.g. urban–Web3, agent deployments, CEIN device class).

4 4. Methods and Research Design

  • **Capture surface:** Agents Account Settings → Deployment research (`users.permissions.deployment_research`), with longitudinal snapshot history.
  • **Onboarding / Connectors:** Learning Hub step explains *why* these questions exist and links operators into settings; getting-started treats the questionnaire as optional but critical for RAG learning.
  • **Runtime correlates:** skill runs, session transcripts, token ledger, approval gates, ticket/CRM stages.
  • **Consent:** research consent and Labs publish consent (aggregated, de-identified) are explicit checkboxes. Neo4j Connectivity is not auto-fed PII.

5 5. System Design and Architecture

*[To be completed]* Architecture, interfaces, threat model or operational assumptions, and what is implemented vs planned.

6 6. Evidence, Data, and Findings

Use these surfaces while presenting (public paper page lists the same links):

1. **Agents realtime ops** — pipeline / KPI context for the field site.

2. **Deployment research settings** — consented baselines, interventions, trust, persistence.

3. **Skill / session traces** — tool calls, escalations, cost correlates (de-identified when published).

4. **Labs Connectivity Graph** — Neo4j GraphRAG (S·T·Tx) under the Ecosystem Logic Map.

5. **Evidence Canvas** — visual evidence nodes for seminars, findings, and partner threads.

6. **Web3 economy & trust** — when the economic change story includes wallets, trust ops, or community rails.

7. **Seminar calendar** — cite UrbCom / OSCUR / CUSP-style venues without copying peer decks.

Neo4j Connectivity is never auto-fed PII. Labs publish consent covers aggregated findings only.

7 7. Discussion

1 Research agenda

Trustworthy Agentic Operations asks: when agents roll people and workflows into production, what evidence proves the system is helping — and that gains persist?

We treat each deployment as a field site. Agents gathers consented self-report baselines and correlates them with runtime signals (skill runs, session traces, token costs, HITL approvals, CRM outcomes). Labs publishes methods and aggregated findings for urban partner builders.

2 Core constructs

1. **Baseline process before agents** — the pre-agent workflow as ground truth.

2. **Task completion time and cost** — operational efficiency claims with numbers.

3. **Error, retry, and human-escalation rates** — failure modes under load.

4. **Agent tool calls and decision traces** — auditability of what the agent did and why.

5. **Customer or operator interventions** — where trust breaks and humans override.

6. **Conversion, response, or resolution outcomes** — business and civic outcomes that matter.

7. **Security and privacy incidents** — harm and near-miss logging.

8. **Model and prompt versions** — reproducibility when models drift.

9. **Human satisfaction and perceived trust** — subjective legitimacy of the system.

10. **Evidence improvements persist over time** — 30/60/90 snapshots, not one-off demos.

4 Contribution to urban partners

Urban operators and agency partners need agent systems they can defend: clear baselines, honest escalation rates, and proof that improvements last. Trustworthy Agentic Operations turns every contract rollout into shared evidence — published on Labs — so partner builders can adopt methods without reinventing measurement.

5 Relation to other Labs threads

This statement sits alongside choice models for ops × customer data, Connectivity GraphRAG (spatial · temporal · transactional), and CEIN / algorithmic justice. Trust is the glue: without governed metrics, those technical threads cannot claim industry or community impact.

6 Status

Instrumentation is live on Agents. This article announces the research program and invites operators to complete Deployment research settings so Labs can accumulate consented evidence.

7 Growth and economic change

Trustworthy Agentic Operations is not only a measurement program — it is how we argue for growth and economic change with evidence partners can defend.

  • **Growth** means operators finish work faster, escalate less, and keep gains at 30/60/90 — without silent privacy or security debt.
  • **Economic change** means urban partners, agencies, and community builders can show that agentic tooling moves real outcomes (response, resolution, opportunity matching) while remaining auditable.
  • **Paper presentations** should open live data feeds (below), not slide decks alone: baselines and trust from Agents Deployment research; Spatial · Temporal · Transactional Connectivity; Evidence Canvas; Web3 economy rails when tokenization or trust wallets are part of the story.

When you Present this paper, walk the ten constructs as instruments of economic change — each construct answers “who benefits, what improved, did it last, and can we show the trace?”

9 How to present this paper

1. Open **Present webinar** on this article (teaching appendix below).

2. Keep speaker notes on (`N`) and screen-share the slide plane.

3. On feed slides, switch briefly to the linked live surface, then return — show the instrument, then the claim.

4. Close on urban / community economic change: what a partner can publish next with the same methods.
