iShareHow Labs · Our research mission

Learn deeply.
Build with communities.
Care for what comes next.

Research, build, and learn with urban communities to expand educational opportunity, strengthen local businesses, and care for the places we share.

The question guiding our work

Under what conditions can community innovation centers, cohort learning, and human-directed agent systems improve urban business resilience, shared prosperity, and ecological stewardship?

Starting with Baltimore, we are developing a research program that connects practical business tools, shared learning, and neighborhood innovation spaces. These are questions to investigate. Outcomes will be reported when evidence supports them.

Study 1 · Proposed

Agents and business resilience

When does agent support help small businesses complete meaningful work reliably and affordably?

Study 2 · Proposed

Learning together, building capability

How do cohorts and local mentors help people transfer learning into independent practice?

Study 3 · Proposed

Equitable and trustworthy agents

Who benefits from agent systems, who faces friction, and how can language and access barriers be reduced?

Study 4 · Proposed

Neighborhood and ecological stewardship

How can shared spaces support local enterprise while caring for resources and existing residents?

Study 5 · Proposed

Sustaining community innovation centers

What operating and ownership models can support durable community benefit without depending on speculative growth?

Study 6 · Proposed

A living network of evidence

Can linked questions, sources, and revisions improve the quality of research and product decisions?

Labs asks and tests

Our research workspace connects questions, literature, studies, and revisions. New observations can strengthen an idea or show why it needs to change.

Agentic OS supports the work

The business platform supports everyday operations. Consented, scoped operational evidence can inform research; customer records do not become public research data.

Communities define value

Cohorts, mentors, and proposed innovation centers connect learning to local needs. Residents help define what counts as progress, including ecological and social costs.

An evolving research practice

We connect each new source to a question, record what has and has not been verified, and revise the relevant study. Developing manuscripts remain private. Reviewed work is shared through the journal when it is ready.
